THE DIRECTOR: 

Michael Mhoon,a UM WESTERN fulltime student is a licensed Southern Baptist Minister & Pastor and a Commissioned Missionary with the NORTH AMERICAN MISSION BOARD of SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION.
 
Michael is also a Certified counselor with the AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELORS. 

He retired from NOAA, NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE , as a Meteorologist, getting his start with NOAA at the NATIONAL SEVERE STORM LAB IN OKLAHOMA.  He has spent time as a college instructor at the University of Kentucky, Texas A & M and did severe storm research on the University of Oklahoma campus.

Prior to attending college as a student,  Michael  was a Medical Specialist [MEDIC] in Vietnam with Army Special Forces and 11th CAV. While there, he earned the Purple Heart 3 times and the Combat Medic Badge.  He once drove buses for Greyhound cross country, drove taxis in Dallas, was Power company lineman, and sold life insurance, He has authored some booklets on meteorology. Michael Mhoon had the privilege of briefing pilots of many famous aircract, including Air Force One and Air Force Two as well as Queen Elizabeth's jetliner. 

Michael and his wife, Diann, work together  as she provides home eatings for visitng students.  They have been married 40 years.

His speciality counseling is in the area of  emotional conflicts regarding sexual based relationships.  He also lectures on
PRE-PREMARRIAGE. 

PRE-PREMARRIAGE helps ask (and answer) the questions:

Should somene choose marriage?

 If so to whom and how do they meet  the right marriage partner and marry them?

How do  young adults know how to avoid troublesome pitfalls in establishing committed elationships?
